Periodic operating mode of continuous chemical reactors

Renken, Albert
1983
Reaktionstechnik chemischer und elektrochemischer Prozesse

In a review with 50 refs., use of controlled oscillations of the process parameters in continuous chem. reactors (e.g., throughput, temp., initial concn. of reactants in the feed) is described. Use of dynamics of the individual reaction steps for process optimization enables obtaining performance and selectivity which cannot be attained under steady-state conditions. [on SciFinder (R)]
