On the use of a slice-selective 270 degrees self-refocusing Gaussian pulse for magnetic resonance imaging: comments on the note by D. M. Doddrell et al
It is shown that the results obtained by D. M. Doddrell, G. J. Galloway, S. E. Rose, P. J. Moulds, and I. M. Brereton (Magn. Reson. Med. 19, 1991) using self‐refocusing 270° Gaussian pulses for slice selection are consistent with our predictions (Magn. Reson. Med. 10, 273, 1989).
