Urban Transitions Global Summit

Early-stage urban planning is a complex discipline for spanning over a multitude of aspects and scales while lacking quantified information. Energy is only one of these aspects but crucial to include already at this planning phase in order to achieve global energy and climate targets. To integrate concepts of sustainability new urban planning procedures, supported by computerized approaches and quantifiable indicators, are needed.
