Bi-stable Indicator for ultra-low Power Applications

Haller, A.
2012

Linked to the quest of having the lowest possible power consumption in consumer electronic devices, some new items are necessary to help improving the GREENESS of these products. For instance LEDs used for the customer notification are important energy consumers. The project aims at developing a new bi-stable electro-mechanical indicator which dimensions, simplicity and power consumption must be a breakthrough. The goal is to display status indicators and this element must comply with industrial design constraints. This project is linked with an international industrial partner and can be continued as a Master project.
