Terahertz Frequency Combs in Silicon Nitride Microresonators for Mid-Infrared Photonics
2025
2025 30th OptoElectronics and Communications Conference (OECC) and 2025 International Conference on Photonics in Switching and Computing (PSC)
We demonstrate mid-infrared frequency comb using a 2μm pump in a silicon nitride microresonator with a 1 terahertz free spectral range. The comb spans 200 nm, with 10 dB extinction, enabling efficient nonlinear conversion.
