The Internet offers new and exciting possibilities for personalized and distance education. The Web Teaching project at ITS is creating the tools needed to provide complete high quality multimedia courses for delivery over the World Wide Web (WWW). Aside from the flexibility that Web-based education provides, the exploitation of ITS s experience in the area of image and signal processing offers the potential to fundamentally change the teaching process. This paper presents a system designed to perform multimedia teaching on WWW.
