Direct dehydrogenation of methanol to formaldehyde in a circulating fluidized bed

The direct dehydrogenation of MeOH to CH2O is presented. For the first time a circulating fluidized bed was used, which is very suitable because of its great heat transfer coeff. [on SciFinder (R)]
