A novel drug delivery system for recombinant human growth hormone with photopolymerized hydrogels
2001
Abstract
Encapsulation of the protein drug hGH in degradable polyethylene glycol-based hydrogel microspheres was demonstrated to result in burst-free release appropriate for a once-per-week prepn. of the drug. Small needle sizes, lack of burst, and lack of local inflammation appear to be advantageous. [on SciFinder (R)]
