Complete sideband suppression in magic angle spinning solid-state nuclear magnetic resonance for arbitrary chemical shift anisotropies
A new expt. is presented for complete sideband suppression in magic angle spinning NMR expts. on solids. The method is based on the combination of a TOSS (total sideband suppression) sequence with its time-reversed counterpart; however, this method is more powerful than TOSS alone since it preserves the full spectral intensity for all chem. shift anisotropies and can even be applied to samples that feature an anisotropic distribution of crystallites.
