Modélisation et simulation bidimensionnelles de la croissance des polycristaux

In this article it is shown that Laguerre partitions of the unit torus yield faithful global representations of the geometry of ceramic polycrytals at the microscopic level. On this basis, a simulation model has been developed and tested reproducing some of the main characteristics of polycrystal growth for the 2D case.
