In vivo imaging with microsphere-based super-resolution microscopy
Employing dielectric microspheres in a standard microscope setup is an alternative to image sub-diffraction features optically, however this method suffers from a limited field-of-view. Here, we show our microsphere-based optical super-resolution microscope that can overcome this issue by a scanning process, followed by image reconstruction. We demonstrate that our imaging method can be used not only for in vitro metrology, but for in vivo biological studies. We show two different biological samples imaged in fluorescent and bright-field modes as proof-of-concept.
