Tracking Skyrmion Motion with matlab

Duchemin, Mathilde
2018

This TP IV report presents a new particle tracking method including the preliminary treatment of material, the image alignment, the identification of the particles and the tracking. This method is applied on gray scale image sequences and the tracking code has been developed based on three different sequences that display quasi-particles called skyrmions. Those sequences will be presented as examples to illustrate the method. The tracking part will present the main improvements of the code through the different sequences. The image alignment and the particle identification algorithms has been developed by Ping Huang.
