ForĂȘt, campagne, jardin. Trois ponts pour habiter Grand-Vennes (VD)
Dans un monde hyperconnectĂ©, l'homme contemporain occulte paradoxalement les visages qui peuplent ses rues et les plans gĂ©omĂ©triques qui dessinent les pans de son existence. Quand sa matĂ©rialitĂ© refuse la permanence, son paysage devient immuable: l'image supplante l'expĂ©rience du sensible. L'ordre chaotique suburbain cristallise la contradiction. LĂ -bas, je ne suis qu'un individu dans un collage urbain sans projet. Aux abords de Lausanne, les quartiers de Grand-Vennes tĂ©moignent de l'incomprĂ©hension suscitĂ©e par ces territoires. Que faut-il regarder, que faut-il comprendre? En discutant avec ses habitants, nous construisons le fondement d'un regard nouveau sur l'ordinaire. Se rĂ©approprier Grand-Vennes, c'est dĂ©fricher sa mĂ©moire et permettre Ă l'imaginaire collectif de l'approcher. En d'autres termes, s'autoriser Ă l'habiter. DĂšs lors, Grand-Vennes devient le lieu d'un rĂ©cit suburbain qui raconte la transformation de la nature par l'homme. Les trois ponts sous le viaduc de la ChocolatiĂšre composent les allĂ©gories d'une image commune et forment en mĂȘme temps des points de vue sur le site. Au-delĂ des liens entre quartiers, les ponts sont des racines dĂ©ployĂ©es pour signifier un lieu complexe entre forĂȘt, campagne et jardin. Ils ont un nom, une fonction, une forme, une Ă©chelle, un parti vis-Ă -vis du sol. La cabane, le grand champ et la tranchĂ©e deviennent alors les espaces d'une rencontre suburbaine. Ils esquissent les contours d'un dessein commun.
