Abstract
This presentation seeks to investigate the processes through which modern roads are conceived and realized. This approach can not only contribute to identify some of the main spatial characteristics of the non-dense urban territories, but also enables to understand better how small scale elements impact of upon environment and urban fabric at large scale.
