Logement de transition. Une structure temporaire évolutive et participative
La transition caractérise le passage d'un état à un autre, par exemple d'une situation critique lorsque l'on perd son logement à un retour à une situation stable et durable. Le logement de transition s'adresse principalement à des personnes en situation de rupture socio-professionnelle, qui ont dû quitter leur logement. Hébergées temporairement chez des amis ou à l'hôtel, elles ne peuvent souvent pas recevoir ou se faire à manger. Elles peuvent avoir de la difficulté à s'approprier l'espace dans lequel elles vivent, à se sentir chez elles. Le projet agit comme une alternative à l'hôtel. Une structure temporaire s'implante de manière évolutive sur le site, un lieu lui-même en transition dans le quartier de Malley à Lausanne. Elle assure les connexions entre le quartier et le futur arrêt de tramway, situé en bordure de la parcelle. Cette structure métallique accueille des modules de logement en bois, composées de chambres et salles de bain, ainsi que des cuisines communes. Les occupants bénéficient d'un espace personnel qu'ils peuvent réellement habiter le temps de retrouver un logement fixe. La participation des occupants est sollicitée dans les différentes activités publiques mises en place sur le site: un “FabLab”, un restaurant, une crèche et des jardins potagers, ce qui peut faciliter une réinsertion professionnelle. Le programme permet également de loger des jeunes en formation. Sa mixité favorise les échanges avec le voisinage.
