An FRI Approach to Super-resolution Light Microscopy

Pacholska, Michalina
2015

Super-resolution is a set of techniques used to enhance resolution of image. This work focuses on super resolution used in fluorescent microscopy, ex to image structures in the living cell. In this report we present new method for this task, both in one dimension and in two dimensions, based on Finite Rate of Innovation. Presented method in one dimension uses Prony’s (or annihilating filter) method for spectral estimation, and in two dimension uses algebraically coupled matrix pencils (ACMP) algorithm. We test this method on artificial images.
