Accumulation and translocation capacity of As, Co, Cr and Pb by forage plants
2011
Arsenic, chromium, cobalt and lead are among the most metalloid and metals present in the environment. When present in soil and water, they can be accumulated inside living organisms, enter several food chains and due to their toxicity affect human health. In this work we investigated the accumulation of As, Cr, Co and Pb by Trifolium incarnation, Medicago saliva, and a mix of commonly sold forage seeds, which contains 8 plant species in different percentage.
