Millimeter waves for NMR enhancement
2010
35Th International Conference On Infrared, Millimeter, And Terahertz Waves (Irmmw-Thz 2010)
By shining millimeter waves upon a sample, Dynamic Nuclear Polarization (DNP) provides a way to enhance Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) signals. Here we report on our efforts to realize a tunable gyrotron at 263.5 GHz and design consideration for coupling a millimeter wave Gaussian beam (GB) to the DNP/NMR probe.
