2011 Optical Fiber Communication Conference And Exposition (Ofc/Nfoec) And The National Fiber Optic Engineers Conference
We report on mode field diameter changes of -31% due to UV-induced core refractive index changes of <= 10(-2) in SMF-28e leading to a loss reduction of 0.83 dB between SMF-28e and a dispersion compensating fiber.
