The aim of this study is to serve as a basis for future thinking on the development of Albanian cities, providing practical tools, knowledge, and an overview of the rich potential of the census for spatial analysis. The precise geo-localization of all the census data collected offers for a first time a practical tool to analyse urbanization process and its spatiality.
