The text describes the development of the transdisciplinary DigiSen project in collaboration between EPFL, UCAD-ESP and UGB to study the digital participation of young people in two medium-sized cities in Senegal, Saint-Louis and Ziguinchor. The DigiSen research project is based on the study of qualitative and quantitative data. It targets young people aged between 18 and 24 in medium-sized towns. In particular, the project is analysing inequalities in access to information and communication technologies, as well as the different ways in which young people are involved and integrated into social, cultural and economic life in Senegal.
