This month, the IEEE Robotics and Automation Society (RAS) will celebrate 40 years of its flagship conference, the IEEE International Conference on Robotics and Automation (ICRA), with a special edition named ICRA@40. This unique event will be held from 23 to 26 September 2024 in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. ICRA@40 will feature more than 60 plenary talks by the most renowned scientists and industry leaders in the field of robotics and automation. These talks will provide invaluable insights into the latest advancements and future directions in the domain. In addition to the talks, the conference will commemorate this milestone with a special video series as part of the Robot History Project. This series will highlight significant achievements and developments in robotics over the past four decades.
