In this article we make an analogy between Electromagnetic and Acoustic transmission-line modelling. Then we use this to introduce acoustic transmission-line metamaterials and finally we introduce the acoustic leaky-wave antenna on the basis of previous steps. The proposed acoustic leaky-wave antenna has the frequency scanning capability like its electromagnetic counterpart and its directivity depends on the length of the antenna.
