IEEE Transactions on Plasma Science

This is the second part of a two-part paper in which we present a new technique for the design of coaxial switched oscillators (SWOs). In this part, we present a model for the analysis of the signal radiated by the SWO, in both frequency and time domains. Use is made of a semianalytical two-port model relating the field radiated by the antenna and the discharge at the spark gap. Experimental validations of the model are presented and discussed.
