Modeling and Optimisation of a Hybrid Stepping Motor

Savioz, G.
2008

The aim of this project is to model and optimise a hybrid stepping motor that drives a closed-circuit television (CCTV) dome camera mechanism. It starts with an implementation of the geometry in ProEngineer (CAD). Then, with the aid of readings and 2D finite element models (FEM), the motor working is explained. The flux circulation in the structure is clarified and leads to the torque creation.
