Research Data Management Survey 2023 - Report on EPFL
Effective Research Data Management (RDM) is a critical aspect of the scientific process, ensuring data and code are well-organized, reproducible, and securely preserved. To better understand researchers' practices and needs, the EPFL Library conducts a biannual survey aimed at improving and developing tailored RDM services. In 2023, this survey was conducted in collaboration with DaSCH, Eawag, ETHZ, FHNW, and UNIL, reflecting a broader effort to harmonize RDM solutions across institutions. This report
predominantly captured perspectives from EPFL’s core research community, particularly doctoral students and postdoctoral researchers from engineering and basic sciences
