We have deposited a Permalloy film on top of a microstripline structure. The ferromagnetic properties of the Permalloy film are analyzed by means of the magneto-optical Kerr effect. We measure the effect of local magnetic fields generated by constant and pulsed currents in the microstripline on the hysteresis loop of the film.
