Sensors and Actuators

The IC-compatible lift-off technique is applied for patterning enzymatic membranes on wafer level. They are used to complete planar three-electrode microelectrochemical cells. These final devices, based on amperometric H2O2 detection, are tested for the determination of glucose and the responses of different glucose electrodes are compared.
