This paper introduces an inductive power transfer system which has multiple independent coil-rectifier outputs, multiple series connected transmitter coils and are supplied from a single transmitter-side converter. Due to the high insulation capability between transmitter and receiver coils, presented system is conceived to be used as auxiliary power supply for power electronics building blocks in medium voltage converters. The coil geometry, compensation network and power electronic converters are designed to achieve high power density and efficiency, despite the large distance between coils that must be overcome. Experimental test setup with five coil pairs is used to demonstrate performances of the system.Inductive Power Transfer System for Auxiliary Power Supply in Medium Voltage Converterstext::conference output::conference proceedings::conference paper
