Copper deposition from Cu(HCOO)2.2H2O was carried out at higher writing speeds than previously attained. Direct writing of iridium lines from two novel Ir-cluster films [Ir4(CO)11Br][N(C2H5)4] and [Ir6(CO)15][N(CH3)3C8H17]2 was demonstrated. The copper and iridium lines were written on Pyrex. It was found that inhomogeneities in the metalorg. layer are crucial to the quality of the deposited metal. Laser writing of iridium at several cm s-1 gives lines of about 10 mm width, with elec. resistivities of the order of 10 times the bulk value.544-19-4 (Copper formate) Role: RCT (Reactant)RACT (Reactant or reagent) (decompn. oflaser-inducedin copper conductive line deposition)126433-32-7 Role: RCT (Reactant)in iridium conductivcopper line laser direct writingiridium line laser direct writinglaser writing copper iridium lineresistivity iridium laser written line[NRG]Fast laser writing of copper and iridium lines from thin solid surface layers of metalorganic compoundstext::journal::journal article::research article
