(I2)2 + hn -> I2(Bu',J') + I2(X). The initial excitation is above the dissocn. limit of the I2 B state. These oscillations are pronounced on some u' states, but not on others. For a given state u', the rotational state population oscillations essentially do not depend on the photolysis wavelength over the range of applied conditions.7553-56-2P (Molecular iodine) Role: FORM (Formationnonpreparative)PREP (Preparation) (formation ofin photodissocn. of mol. iodine dimermultiple oscillations in rotational state population of); 25730-91-0 Role: RCT (Reactant)RACT (Reactant or riodine photodissocn rotational population photoproductMultiple oscillations observed in the rotational state population of molecular iodine(B) formed in the photodissociation of the molecular iodine dimer((I2)2)text::journal::journal article::research article
