This has been achieved due to emergence of high computing powers and high resolution CT scanners in the recent years. The goal of this project is to employ this technique to measure the mechanical properties of a bone scaffold which is used in tissue engineering applications. The finite element procedure is already developed. This project demands working with µCT imaging, compression test, MATLAB and ABAQUS.
