The authors investigate new possibilities to combine the propulsion and levitation. Polarized inductors for the levitation are studied, implying a polarized (permanent magnet) synchronous linear motor. The thermal behavior is investigated using a numerical platform of the complete vehicle-tunnel system and computational fluid dynamic analysis.AerodynamicLevitationLinear motorsMAGLEVpermanent magnetSwissmetroSWISSMETRO - Polarized Linear Motor Combined With Levitation Actuatorstext::conference output::conference proceedings::conference paper
