Carbohydrate-derived phosphites, imidazole or indazole have been chosen as co-ligands and different synthetic routes have been explored to obtain the compounds. The organometallics were characterized by elemental analysis, electrospray ionization mass spectroscopy, H-1, C-13{H-1}, P-31{H-1} and 2D NMR spectroscopic methods. (C) 2011 Elsevier B.V.
