The unsteady-state-processing becomes advantageous under certain conditions. This can be shown for an irreversible consecutive-competing reaction. The yield and selectivity of the intermediate product can exceed the values obtainable at steady-state-processing in the mentioned reactor.Reaction (consecutive-competing; in continuous stirred-tank reactor; periodic operation effect on)periodic operation reactorcontinuous stirred tank reactor operationThe use of periodic operation to improve the performance of continuous stirred tank reactorstext::journal::journal article::research article
