Abstract

For the measurement of spin-lattice relaxation in complex spin systems, most, if not all, phase and amplitude distortions may be removed by cycling the phase of the inversion pulse in increments of 90 Deg while retaining the phase alternation of the monitoring pulse and the add/subtract mode during signal accumulation. The technique is illustrated by the measurements of the nonselective deuteron spin-lattice relaxation time for CDCl3 (10 mol %) in Merck Licristal Phase V. [on SciFinder (R)]
