The anodic behavior of Ni in HF-HCl aq. solns. was examd. The current efficiency for Ni dissoln. was detd. from the wt. loss of Ni polarized anodically, assuming that Ni dissolves as Ni2+. The dissoln. rate decreases markedly for a HF concn. of .apprx.50%. [on SciFinder (R)]
