3D anisotropic grain growth first simulation results with a Laguerre Model
1996
Abstract
The 3D Laguerre model for polycrystal normal grain growth is generalized to the anisotropic case. In the model, the specific grain boundary energy id determined by the misorientation of adjacent grains and the grain boundary mobility is assumed to be isotropic. Preliminary simulation results show that the anisotropic model can reproduce the normal grain growth process
