A Drive system with a digitally controlled matrix converter feeding an AC Induction machine

The paper describes the control technique for a matrix converter and it's microcomputer based hardware implementation for a four-quadrant induction motor drive system. Special emphasis is given to the sinusoidal output voltage and input current modulation. Simulation results and experimental results are presented.
