2019

A method for manufacturing an electrical conductor is herein disclosed, said method comprising a) providing a substrate comprising on a surface thereof a solid metal conductive layer or film; b) depositing a liquid metal on said solid layer; c) allowing said liquid metal and said solid layer to alloy by diffusion of said liquid metal into said solid layer or film so as to form a solid conductive layer or film of said alloy; and d) allowing said liquid metal to further depose onto said alloy layer so as to form a biphasic conductive layer comprising said solid alloy as a solid phase and said liquid metal as a liquid phase deposed thereon, characterized in that said surface of said substrate comprises a plurality of protrusions being separated by grooves. An electrical conductor manufactured by performing a method according to invention is also herein disclosed.
