Résumé

A setup for transferring 2D materials was design and assembled. Key features of the setup are: (i) microscope and translational/rotational stages for aligning 2D material samples and target substrates, (ii) force sensor for force controlled transfers and (iii) a heating stage for transfers at elevated temperatures. Using standard parts from Thorlabs allowed us to assemble a virtual version of the system in SolidWorks. Doing so, various types of issues were discovered and corrected before ordering all the components. After receiving all components, the setup was assembled and initial testing of it initiated.
