Evolution of Ordered Metal Chalcogenide Architectures through Chemical Transformations

A method of inducing hierarchically ordered porosity in metal chalcogenides using surface-treated nanocrystals and complementary architecture-directing agents has been developed. The resulting mesoporous materials are robust to thermal annealing and chem. transformations.
