Abstract

The present invention concerns a permeable-magnetocaloric material for a magnetic refrigerator, a heat pump or a power generator comprising at least a magnet assembly for the generation of a magnetic field, a body disposed at least partially in said magnetic field, a porous structure mounted inside said body and containing a permeable-magnetocaloric material and means for conducting a working fluid through said body.
