In just two decades, our ability to transmit information has been deeply transformed with the deployment of the Internet and the increasingly widespread use of the Web. The Web is more than a technology of synchronisation. The Web is a powerful technology of synchorisation, producing an unprecedented common space. Our relation to space and time has therefore changed significantly, engaging us to reconsider actively the practical arrangements of coexistence.
