Band-Like Electron Transport with Record-High Mobility in the TCNQ Family

The occurrence of extremely pronounced band-like transport with very high electron mobility in fluorinated tetracyanoquinodimethane (F<inf>2</inf>-TCNQ) single-crystal field-effect transistors is discovered. This finding identifies the F<inf>x</inf>-TCNQ family as a paradigm to investigate the fundamental aspects of electronic transport in organic crystals. © 2015 WILEY-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co.
