A Shoe-Equipped Linear Generator for Energy Harvesting
2013
Abstract
In this paper, a linear tubular generator is presented. It is used for an energy harvesting system equipped in a footwear, scavenging power from forward motion during a walk. Configuration of the generator is studied, and geometric optimization by finite-element analysis is detailed. A prototype is built, validating that the simulation and test results have a good agreement.
