Still rather little is known about long-term impacts of robotic home appliances on people’s daily routines and attitudes and how they evolve over time. We investigate these aspects through a longitudinal ethnographic study with nine households, to which we gave a Roomba cleaning robot. During six months, data is gathered through a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods. 000170416 6531_ $$ahuman-robot interaction 000170416 6531_ $$adomestic service robots 000170416 6531_ $$alongitudinal field study 000170416 6531_ $$asocial factors in robotics 000170416 700__ $$0244070$$aFink, Julia$$g203131 000170416 700__ $$aBauwens, Valérie 000170416 700__ $$aMubin, Omar 000170416 700__ $$0240415$$aKaplan, Frédéric$$g174121 000170416 700__ $$0240137$$aDillenbourg, Pierre$$g155704 000170416 7112_ $$a1st Symposium of the NCCR robotics$$cZürich, Switzerland$$dJune 16, 2011 000170416 8564_ $$s1443184$$uhttps://infoscience.epfl.ch/record/170416/files/NCCR-symposium11-Zurich_poster.pdf$$yn/a$$zn/a 000170416 909C0 $$0252475$$pCHILI$$xU12753 000170416 909C0 $$0252409$$pNCCR-ROBOTICS$$xU12367 000170416 909C0 $$0252478$$pCEDE$$xU12750 000170416 909CO $$ooai:infoscience.tind.io:170416$$pIC$$pposter 000170416 917Z8 $$x203131 000170416 917Z8 $$x203131 000170416 937__ $$aEPFL-POSTER-170416 000170416 973__ $$aEPFL$$sPUBLISHED 000170416 980__ $$aPOSTER
