Absorption bands of BrNO in the UV with e (lmax = 215 nm) = 1.84 +- 0.17 * 104L/mol-cm and in the red with e (lmax = 708 nm) 7.7 +- 1.9 </mol-cm at 298 K were investigated. The rate of formation of BrNO was also measured.
