Frequency synchronization in a random oscillator network

In this paper we study the transition from incoherence to coherence in large network of arbitrary coupled, heterogeneous, continuous-time dynamical systems (phase oscillators). We analytically study a generalized Kuramoto model by the instrumentality of order parameter of the systems. We evaluate critical coupling constant and explore sufficient and necessary conditions for synchronization.
