Abstract

AlPdMn quasi-crystalline specimens were deformed at low temperatures using a high-confining-pressure device. The microstructures, observed in each sample by transmission electron microscopy, depend on the deformation temperature and show that plastic deformation is accompanied by dislocation movements.
